Join us for an inspiring winter vacation day at The Museum of Technology in Muoviamo’s plastic upcycling workshop!
In this plastic upcycling workshop, you’ll learn how to create items from plastic bags and bottles. The workshop is an opportunity to explore creative recycling and acquire skills you can use at home.
You can create items like a wallet, a small bag, a storage container, jewelry, a lampshade, window decorations, or your own artwork. You can also invent new ways to upcycle plastic! After the workshop, you can take your creations home.

Who can participate
The workshop is suitable for anyone interested in plastic upcycling, the circular economy, environmental issues, creative expression, and design. You can choose to work on a simple or more complex project during the workshop. The workshop is suitable for ages 4 and up and is a great opportunity for the whole family to engage in creative activities together.

20.2 Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.,

Choose the day that suits you best. It is advisable to reserve about 1-3 hours.

Admission and Participation
Workshop
There is a material fee for the plastic workshop and places are limited. You can also pay the material fee on site, but priority is given to those who have registered and paid in advance. We recommend securing your spots in advance by registering here:

4 persons 40 €
In case of illness or other hindrances, you can cancel your registration by sending an email to hello@muoviamo.fi and we will refund the material fee.

Free entry with a Museum Card! Thursdays are ’Pay What You Want’ days, where you decide the price of admission.

Family ticket (2 adults and 3 children): 30 €
Reduced price (groups, seniors, students, unemployed): 6 €
What if I get hungry?
In the Museum of Technology, it is possible to eat your own packed meals in a designated area. There is also a small museum shop near the ticket sales where you can buy refreshments and coffee.
